How to Add a Custom Domain or Subdomain to Your GreatPLR Hosting
Want your funnel to show up on your own domain instead of a subdomain like greatplr.digitalemergencykit.com? No problem! This guide will walk you through how to connect a domain or subdomain you already own.
🔐 Step 1: Log In to the Hosting Dashboard
Go to:
👉 https://dashboard.greatplr.com
Log in using the credentials you received when you first purchased hosting.
📨 If you didn’t set a password yet or can’t remember it, click Forgot Password on the login page.
🧭 Step 2: Choose the Funnel You Want to Add the Domain To
From the Your Sites section, find the box for the funnel you want to connect your domain to.
Example: ryantest1.digitalemergencykit.com
Scroll down to the 🌐 Connected Domains section and click:
🟩 Add Domain
You’ll be prompted to enter the domain or subdomain you want to use, like:myoffer.youbrand.com or yourbrand.com
⚙️ Step 3: Set Up DNS (Don’t Worry, It’s Just a Few Clicks)
Once you’ve added the domain, you’ll see instructions like this:
DNS Setup Instructions:
- Go to your domain provider’s DNS settings.
- Create a CNAME record
- Type: CNAME
- Host: yourbrand.com (your domain)
- Points to: greatplr.digitalemergencykit.com (replace with your free subdomain)
What this does: It tells the internet where to find your site when people type in your domain.

- If you’re not sure, try searching your email for “domain registration” or “welcome to [provider name]”
- You can also visit https://whois.domaintools.com and enter your domain to see who hosts your DNS.
🔁 Common DNS Gotchas
- ⏳ DNS changes may take up to 30 minutes to go live (but usually faster).
- 🛑 Don’t use a redirect or forwarding rule — you need a CNAME record.
- 🧠 Use a subdomain like
offer.yourbrand.comif your main domain already powers another website.
🧪 How to Know It’s Working
Once the DNS is set up correctly:
- You’ll see ✅ “correctly configured” in your dashboard.
- You can visit your domain in the browser and see your funnel live!
- Your site will load securely with https://
